Most people in Olivella live on housing estates of detached homes with gardens: Les Colines, Can Surià, Mas Mestre, Mas Milà and Plana Novella. The village and the rural hamlets of Can Suriol, Can Pau d’Olivella and Mas Aliona keep their old character. For many everyday services, residents go to Sitges and Sant Pere de Ribes.
