Platja Llarga
East of the mouth of the Foix, towards Vilanova, just over half a kilometre of sand. Lifeguards in summer.
Platja de la Mota de Sant Pere
The town’s longest beach, between the mouth of the Foix and the old power station. Lifeguards in summer.
Platja de les Salines
About 450 metres of sand towards Cunit, popular with locals.
Platja de les Gavines
About 250 metres within Les Salines. This is the stretch the town has set aside for swimmers with dogs: check each summer’s rules.
Before you go
The lifeguard season usually runs from mid-June to mid-September. Each year’s dates and services are published by the Town Council.

At the beach
Water sports
Paddle boarding, kayaking and dinghy sailing in summer. Out of season, the beach belongs to walkers and anglers.
Facilities
Lifeguards, showers and foot washes on the main beaches in summer. Check the Town Council website for accessible areas.
Getting there
From the train station it is about ten minutes on foot to the seafront. By car, there are car parks near the sea that fill up in August.
